Meet Olivia

I got my start at the University of Kentucky, where I earned my B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communication and served as VP of the campus chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Since then, I’ve spent my career in fast-paced marketing agencies, learning that the best strategies come from creativity and real data working together, not one or the other.

My foundation is rooted in hands-on execution, with a significant focus in photography and content creation. These days, most of my work lives in management and strategy, but that hands-on experience has shaped every aspect of how I lead my team.

FAQ

Are you more hands-on or hands-off as a manager?

I’d say somewhere in between. I’m not a micromanager. I give my team clear deadlines and the resources they need, then trust them to run with it.

Do you still do hands-on creative work, or purely strategy/management now?

My focus is on breaking the big picture down into responsibilities my team can run with day to day. That said, I’m frequently in the weeds with them, making sure quality standards and deadlines are met well ahead of schedule.

What’s your experience with budget management or ad spend?

I’ve managed combined budgets of $1M+ at a time, spread across multiple clients within the agency. I take that responsibility seriously, it’s not my money, but I treat it like it is. That means making every penny work as hard as it can and being willing to pivot fast. If a campaign is underperforming, I’d rather shift the budget toward something that works than keep funding ads that look good but aren’t performing.
